LIVINGSTON – The University of West Alabama National Alumni Association will host a pair of spring golf tournaments to support scholarships and academic programs.

The annual UWA/Coca-Cola Golf Tournament for Academic Excellence, sponsored by Meridian Coca-Cola Bottling Co., is set for Saturday, April 30 at the Livingston Country Club. All proceeds from the $150 tournament entry fee supplement academic departments.

The UWA Southwest Alabama Alumni Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, May 14 at Mill Creek Golf Course in Citronelle to fund scholarships for UWA students in Baldwin, Mobile and Washington counties. Entry fee is $160 per team.

Both tournaments are two-person scrambles, with tee times at 9 a.m. and onsite registration at 8 a.m. Entry fees include lunch, and prizes will be awarded to the top teams in each flight
