Cecil Gray Burge, 74, of Linden died Monday, March 28 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 20, 1937 in Octagon. He was a retired electrician with the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his sons Roger Burge of Linden, William Burge of Linden, Kennith Burge of Montgomery and Kenneth Winters of Tuscaloosa, daughter Sheryl Wilson of Tuscaloosa, brother James Earl Burge of Linden and sister Odell White as well as 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 30 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bryant Fredrick officiating. Burial with military honors by the U.S. Air Force was at Linden Memorial Park in Linden.

Active Pallbearers were Larry Burge, Sam Burge, Randal Wilson, Charles Burge, Josh Milam and Jerry Osburn.
