William Jackson Luker, Sr., 78, a former TV repairman of Linden, dies Saturday, April 16 at DCH Regional Medical Center. He was born January 17, 1933 in Marengo County. He was a member of the Linden Presbyterian Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Ann Luker; sons William Jackson Luker Jr., of Biloxi, Deryl Bly Luker, of Tuscaloosa and Timothy Robert Luker; daughter, Pamela Fay Luker Jones, of Biloxi; sisters Betty Meryl Gibbs, of Linden, Gwen Cannon, of Linden, Martha Johnson, of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Barbara Nell Luker, of Linden and Gloria Henson, of Dixons Mills; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were held at Linden Memorial Park April 19 with paul Whitcomb officiating.
