Mrs. Mattie Hunter, age 90 of Demopolis, Alabama entered into eternal rest April 12, 2011 at the Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital, Demopolis, Alabama.

Pastor Sid Rowser, Sr. officiated. Interment followed in Memorial Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.

The memories of sister Hunter are cherished by her daughters: Hollie White of Demopolis,AL and Angela Hunter Moss(Xavier) of Madison, AL; two sons: Lee Hunter of Union town, Ohio and Willie Hunter ( Doris), Patterson, New,Jersey. Granddaughters; Tammi Western- Scott(Victor) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Sabrina White, Birmingham, AL and great-grand daughter, Shelby Western, Tuscaloosa,AL; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, Nancy Ellis and Jamie Drew-Ray of Chicago, IL; a daughter-in-law, Matilda Hunter, Birmingham,AL; a sister-in-law, Mamie Felton of Springfield, IL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family.
