Due to the threat of inclement weather:

• Marengo Academy will open at 10 a.m. today.

• The University of West Alabama and the Demopolis Higher Education Center will remain closed Thursday, April 28. All campus classes, including evening classes, will not meet, and all administrative offices will be closed. While no structural damage has been reported at the University of West Alabama, many surrounding areas have experienced damage and power outages are widespread.
