Brenda S. King, 72, a resident of Prattville and former resident of Linden died May 4 at Prattville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Nov. 13, 1938 in Lockhart. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Prattville.

She is survived by two daughters, Jenny Burge of Crossett, Ark. and Joyce Leswick of Prattville, three step sons, Van King of Foley, Johnny King of Peachtree City, Ga. and Joe King of Mississippi, three sisters, Carolyn Maness of Prattville, Charlotte Lyles of Prattville and Jackie Glass of Demopolis as well as nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were held at Linden Memorial Park on Friday, May 6 at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Randy Creel officiating.

Active Pallbearers were Charlie Burge, Christopher Burge, Michael Burge, Sam Jones, Justin King and Hunter Lyles.
