John Anthony Miklic, Jr., 85, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday. Born in Demopolis, Alabama, John was a veteran of World War II, a graduate of Spring Hill College, and concluded a successful civilian career with the U.S Army at Redstone Arsenal.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Anthony Miklic, Sr.; his mother, Mary Krish Miklic; eight sisters, and one brother.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Louise Miklic, his only daughter, Anna Marie Curenton, and her husband, Glenn Curenton; his grandson, Bradley Michael Whitehorn, and dozens of cherished nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church followed by interment at Maple Hill Cemetery, Inc.
