The Demopolis Police Department in conjunction with the Alabama Beverage Control Board arrested Thomas Franklin Wilson Thursday.

The arrest of Wilson, 35, took place after officers executed a search warrant of the property at 915 Knox Circle in Demopolis.

Wilson was transported to the Marengo County Detention Center to a bond hearing.

He is charged with Possession of Marijuna 1st, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and five counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance. Officers also seized a red 2007 Chevrolet Impala during the search.

“The Demopolis police officers and the ABC agents involved in the investigation should be commended for a job well done,” Demopolis Police Department chief Tommie Reese said.
