LINDEN – Anne Capps, a Pine Belt representative, recently visited with Linden High School Principal Timothy Thurman to unveil the Pine Belt School Rebate Program.

“The program is targeted to all of our local public and private schools in the Pine Belt service area: Marengo, Choctaw, Wilcox, Dallas and Perry counties and the City of Thomasville,” she said. “By way of this program, we will make a cash donation directly to your school equal to 2 percent of specified fixed monthly charges for each Pine Belt customer that designates one of these schools as their beneficiary.”

The services currently included in the benefit program are local Pine Belt landline telephone service, Pine Belt Wireless mobile telephone service, QuickSpeedÆ DSL data service and QuickSpeedÆ Mobile data service.

Pine Belt customers will be able to make their PBSRP beneficiary designations by calling any of Pine Belt’s six locations; by informing any Pine Belt sales rep or designated customer service reps at the time of signing up for new service or when renewing existing service, or by signing on and making a PBSRP beneficiary designation at www.pinebelttalk.com.

Capps also presented Thurman with a $25 contribution from Pine Belt along with flyers about the program for every student.
