The aircraft, a twin engine Cessna, was en route to Destin, Fla. from St. Louis when it attempted to divert to Demopolis after an engine failure. The plane went down in a wooded area, killing all seven on board.

The couple’s oldest daughter, Ashlei Bruewer, 16, was not aboard the plane.

The wreckage was found 2:17 a.m. Sunday morning. First responders on the scene said they found the plane upside-down with one of its wings broken off. FAA records show the plane is registered to Advanced Integrated Technology Solutions LLC, a software design company in Niceville, Fla.
