Ralph Carter Tubbs

Ralph Carter Tubbs, 82, of Greensboro died Nov. 12 at Druid City Hospital. Born May 6, 1929 in Perry County to the late Hoover Hugh and Beatrice Rinehart Tubbs, he is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Randy) McCrory of Greensboro, sons Hugh Arlington “Sonny” (Shaunne) Tubbs of Lakeside, Oreg. and James R. “Jimmy” (Lynn) Tubbs of Greensboro, sisters Elna Wilkerson of Greensboro, Evelyn Lyles of Jonesboro, Ga. and Oleta (William) Mitchell of Brent, brother Richard (Tot) Tubbs of Greensboro, grandchildren Jason McCrory, Jamie Tubbs, Justin Tubbs, Jeremy Tubbs, Shannon Tubbs and Hugh A. Tubbs Jr. and great grandchildren Chandler, Collin and David McCrory and Brendon Tubbs.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Methodist Church with Bro. Kerry Mitchell officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing.

Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 p.m.

Pallbearers Darren Mitchell, Charlie Tubbs, Randall Tubbs, Terry Tubbs, Allen Tubbs, Jason McCrory, Jamie Tubbs and Randy Brown.

Honorary Pallbearers include doctors, nurses and staff of MICU and ACCU and DCH and his friends at Mustang Oil.
