Demopolis Fire and Rescue personnel responded Tuesday morning to a kitchen fire at 306 E. Washington Street. The building, located at the corner of E. Washington and Chestnut, houses five businesses. According to James Todd, owner of JT’s Wings and More, the fire started in the kitchen of his restaurant. The Demopolis Fire and Rescue Department had three engines on scene as of 11:55 a.m.
