A fire early Tuesday morning destroyed the Salt & Pepper Lounge in Demopolis.

The building, located just off Highway 43 right before the SportsPlex, was a total loss.

Demopolis Fire and Rescue chief Ronnie Few said his department received the call at 8:35 a.m. but the structure was fully involved upon their arrival.
