Four arrests made in home invasion

Four men have been arrested following a home invasion last Thursday in Thomaston.

No one was injured in the break-in, which happened at a house on Second Avenue. A 92-year-old woman and her caregiver were at home during the invasion.

Two of the men were armed with pistols, according to Mayor Jeff Laduron. The weapons were recovered Tuesday.

One of the guns was reportedly stolen out of another house in Thomaston, according to Laduron.

A small amount of money was taken from the woman?s caregiver.

Those arrested and charged with the crime are:

* Terrance “T-Bone” Steele, 22, of Thomaston has been charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.

* Jeremy Steele, 22, of Thomaston has been charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.

Two minors were also arrested. A 16-year-old boy from Thomaston was charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. He may be charged as an adult, authorities said. A 15-year-old boy from Thomaston was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree burglary.

All four suspects are in the Marengo County Jail pending bond.
