The United Blood Services Bloodmobile held the drive Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Community members from all across the area poured in to give blood Wednesday in support of Childhood Cancer awareness.

Jennifer Thomason, of Demopolis, and employee at Robertson Bank aided to coordinate the blood drive with the United Blood Services Bloodmobile. Thomason’s daughter, Anna-Coleman, is improving from her battle with childhood cancer and goes for scans on this Friday.

The drive was in the Robertson Bank main office parking lot and they collected over their anticipated quota of 15 people with 17 donors resulting in 21 bags.
