Linden BOE Monday meeting

The Linden City Board of Education met Monday evening and approved the superintendent to post the position of a part-time technology support assistant.
The board also approved the use of classrooms at Linden High School for the UAB Living Healthy Program.
In other business, the board did the following:
•Approved the July 2012 financial reports.
•Approved the superintendent to enter into an agreement with Dada Eddins to provide speech therapy services to eligible students during the 2012-13 school year
•Approved the superintendent to enter into an agreement with Remegi McCloud to provide occupational therapy services to eligible students during the 2012-13 school year.
•Approved the superintendent to enter into an agreement with Genesis Rehabilitation, Inc. to provide physical therapy services to eligible students during the 2012-13 school year.
•Approved the superintendent to employ an education aide at Linden Elementary School.
•Approved payroll direct deposit for employees beginning with the 2012-13 school year.
