Tuesday mornings for four local women are filled with breakfast, good conversation and reminiscing about the “good ol’ days,” but this Tuesday there were unified by something more than their history together.

Elizabeth Bond, Lois McCarson, Margaret “Sissie” Carter and Helen Kyser gathered Tuesday at 8 a.m. for their weekly breakfast at Jack’s all wearing pink T-shirts in support of childhood cancer awareness.

The women all purchased T-shirts from Jennifer Thomason of Demopolis, whose daughter Anna-Coleman battled cancer.
