Windham Motor Company on U.S. 80 in Demopolis is getting a facelift.

Owner Tyler Windham said many people are wondering what is going on, seeing construction crews working as they drive by.

The renovations started in June and should be finished by January. When completed, Windham’s storefront will have the “look” of other Chevy dealerships.

“It’s going to be nice when it’s done,” Windham said. “It’s going to give this end of town a new look.”

In addition to the front, the service area has also been overhauled. Windham will now be able to offer alignments, in addition to the service, repairs and tire sales already offered.

“It’s really going to help us increase our service here and what we can offer,” Windham said.

The renovations won’t lead to any price increases, Windham said.

Windham Motors moved into the building, which was a tractor dealership at one time, in 1979. These upgrades are the first major ones since then.
