The Linden City Council met Tuesday evening and took action on one item, which was to update their signature cards at First Bank of Linden, and remove the people who no longer work for the city.

In the city clerk’s report, Staci Jordan stated that Advanced Disposal’s garbage rates have gone up by 1.7 percent, so the city will be raising their rate from $17.35 to $17.62.

There was no other action taken during the meeting.

The next city council meeting will be Tuedsay, Feb. 19 at 4:30 p.m.
