David B (Dave Barr) Tutt

David B (Dave Barr) Tutt, 77, a resident of Montgomery, passed away Tuesday, March 12, at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Davis Tutt; his step sons, T. Michael (Wanda) Jernigan of Montgomery, and Abel Munoz of Montgomery; two sons, David Webb (Jill) Tutt and Walter V. (Marni) Tutt both of Demopolis; seven grandchildren, Jake Jernigan, Victoria Jernigan, David Tutt, William Tutt, Robert Tutt, Wallace Tutt and Camilla Tutt; two sisters-in-law, Ginny Davis of Vernon, Fla., and Clara Jean Duke of Montgomery; and several nieces, nephews and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wallace & Camilla Barr Tutt; son, J. Wallace Tutt III; brother, James Wallace Tutt Jr.; and his brother-in-law, William Earl Webb.

Dave Barr was a passionate lover of the outdoors, a land steward, quail and turkey hunter who had many friends and was a great storyteller.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 16, at 1 p.m. at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Sandifer officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and Ramin Jackson & Abel Munoz. In honor of his love of the outdoors, please dress as you wish for his service.
