With deepest and profound sympathy, the staff and management of Larkin and Scott Funeral Home announces the passing of Dr. Christopher Caldwell Scott on Tuesday, May 21 at the Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 25 from 1:30-3 p.m. at the Small Memorial AME Zion Church in Jefferson. No public viewing or visitation will be held.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. Christopher C. Scott Mortuary Science Scholarship Fund, which has been established at Robertson Banking Company. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis entrusted with all arrangements.
Dr. Scott was a long time businessman and CEO of Larkin and Scott Funeral Home of Demopolis.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Johnnie W. Scott of Demopolis; son, John T. Scott of Tuscaloosa; daughter, Christalle (LaVann) Suttles of Vestavia Hills; one brother, Thomas (Dorothy) Scott of Demopolis; a devoted nephew, Kelvin (Mary) Alvis of Demopolis; and a host of uncles, aunts, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
