Riley joins Times staff

Hannah Riley, 21, has joined The Demopolis Times as marketing consultant. Riley graduated in May 2013 from the University of West Alabama with a degree in English and minor in journalism.

During college, she interned at WTOK-TV and at the Center for the Study of Blackbelt and worked in UWA’s public relations department. While in Livingston, Riley was SGA president her senior year, a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority and several honor societies.

“I am thrilled to join The Demopolis Times staff,” she said. “I look forward to getting to know the people in the community.”

Riley, a native of Quitman, Miss., started work at The Demopolis Times on Thursday. She will service advertising accounts for the newspaper.

“I’m excited to welcome Hannah to our staff,” said Publisher Justin Averette. “We are proud to have the opportunity to work with her and fully expect business owners in Demopolis and Marengo County will feel likewise.”
