The Highway 80 Songwriter’s Festival is a go Saturday, rain or shine.

The Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce watches weather conditions as they prepare for the Highway 80 Songwriter’s Festival that will be held Saturday, July 6 between 6-10 p.m.

“The festival will continue on regardless of the rain,” said Jenn Tate, executive director of Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce. “We will just be watching the weather to know if we have to move locations.”

In case of inclement weather conditions, the festival will be moved to the Marengo Theater located at 219 E Washington St. in downtown Demopolis. If the weather conditions are clear, the location will remain at the Demopolis downtown square.
