The University of West Alabama welcomed more than 300 incoming freshmen to its annual Tiger Trails Orientation on Thursday morning.

The group of freshmen will spend two days learning the ropes on campus from various departments. The event ends with a registration period for students to sign up for the first classes of their college career.

“There is tremendous activity and excitement at UWA right now, as evidenced by the outstanding participation in the transfer and freshman orientation sessions this week,” said Bill Wagnon, dean of admissions and enrollment management at UWA.
