LIVINGSTON – The time for the 2013 University of West Alabama football season opener against Clark Atlanta at Tiger Stadium has been moved to 11 a.m. to allow the game to be televised.
The defending Gulf South Conference champions will be on the GSC-LIVE TV network and the game against Clark Atlanta is slated to be the first of a three-game package that day offered by CSS Sports. The Tigers and the Panthers contest would lead into the Alcorn State-Mississippi State and Austin Peay-Vanderbilt games later that day.
West Alabama begins fall drills on August 12 in preparation for the season opener. The Tigers finished 9-4 last season, winning the school’s first outright GSC championship and advancing to the second round of the NCAA Division II Playoffs.
Two different season ticket packages are available for the 2013 season. Reserved seats for seven games are on sale for $70, while general admission season packages are available for $56.
