The Demopolis Police Department arrested the following suspects on drug-related charges resulting from a narcotics investigation between Sept. 27 and Oct. 1:

1. Walter Evans Jr., age 24 of South Industrial Park Drive in Demopolis

(2) Counts of unlawful distribution of controlled substance.

(1) Count of possession of marijuana first-degree.

2. Krystal Hambright, age 25 of 1319 East Pettus Street in Demopolis

(1) Count of unlawful distribution of controlled substance

3. Demarcus Crispin, age 22 of Jackson Square Trailer Park in Demopolis

(1) Count of unlawful distribution of controlled substance

4. Christopher McKinley, age 21 of 1302 Edgewood Drive in Demopolis

(1) Count of unlawful distribution of controlled substance

Demopolis Chief of Police Tommie Reese said that more arrests are coming. He praised the Criminal Investigation Division and Narcotic Unit of DPD for handling these cases.
