Alyssa Martinez named Miss Junior Christmas on the River

Demopolis Middle student Alyssa Martinez is the 2013 Miss Junior Christmas on the River.
Martinez is the daughter of J.C. and Ana Martinez.
The 2013 Miss Junior Christmas on the River is Demopolis Middle School seventh-grader Alyssa Martinez.
She enjoys language arts class at school with Julie Massie and visual arts with Meggin Mayben. She also enjoys baking, painting, playing softball and playing the piano.
Her court included first alternate Claudia Graycee Peppenhorst, second alternate Mary-McClain Colgrove, third alternate Shaelin Allise Jones and fourth alternate Harley Blake Johnston.
The other Top 10 contestants were Taylor Nicole Langley, Mary Kendall Glass, BreAnna Marie Ramsey, Riley Elizabeth Reynolds and Amelia Ruth Harrison.
The Young Miss Christmas on the River will be Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m., and Little Miss Christmas on the River will be Wednesday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m.
Mary Frances Webb won Miss COTR on Saturday.
