The Demopolis Police Department is seeking information as to the whereabouts of Travis Doniel Wesley, 29, who is wanted for the murder of Lequinton Montrell Lomax.

Wesley is considered armed and dangerous, according to authorities. The murder occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. Wesley is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 173 pounds.

The murder occurred on Wolf Circle in Demopolis, and the suspect used a handgun.

DPD Chief Tommie Reese is asking the community and anyone who has information about Wesley to turn him in to law enforcement before he harms someone else.

Reese said his department has been searching around town, but Wesley is still at large. This is the first homicide since Reese became police chief in 2009.
