The Demopolis City Schools Foundation is gearing up for two events this week.

One will be a Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours on Thursday, Nov. 14. The event, celebrating the Foundation’s 20th anniversary, will take place at the Coplin Building downtown from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The Foundation is also in the middle of its annual turkey breast sale. Tickets are available for $25 each from any board member or by calling (334) 289-2226.

Turkey will be picked up Saturday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to noon at Demopolis High School.

Proceeds will support the classroom grants program, which awarded $50,000 in grants to Demopolis classrooms this fall.
