James Walter Abrams of Marion passed away Friday, Feb. 14, at his residence.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Siloam Baptist Church with the Rev. John Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery with Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Otis Abrams and Ella Ester Wallace; and son, James Timothy Abrams.

He is survived by his wife, Ertis Mae Morris Abrams of Marion; daughter, Debra (Leslie) Harrison of Marion; son, David Alan (Lynn) Abrams of Moundville; daughter-in-law, Joyce Avery Abrams of Marion; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
