Mattie Lee Foxhall, 86, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, of Linden, died Wednesday, March 5 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 23, 1927, in Clarke County. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Sam Burge of Mobile, Rick Burge of Linden; daughter, Janie Hawk of Thomasville; sister, Bessie Ree Mosley of Dothan; two brothers, Dewey Webb and Burlon Webb of Linden; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were held at Octagon Cemetery on Saturday, March 8 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Gandy officiating.
