Robertson names Lollar as City President for Tuscaloosa market

Robertson Banking Company is pleased to announce John Lollar as the City President for the Tuscaloosa market.

Lollar is a career banker with nearly 40 years of banking experience. In 2010, John joined Robertson Banking Company as Vice President and Business Banker for the Bank’s Tuscaloosa market expansion focusing on commercial loans and deposits.

Robertson Banking Company Executive Officer Gary Holemon said, “We are fortunate to have John lead Robertson Banking Company in Tuscaloosa. He and I have known each other for over 20 years, and I consider him a good friend as well as an excellent banker. John always has the best interest of his customers in the forefront and will continue that focus in his new role.”

Lollar earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Livingston University and is a graduate of Alabama School of Banking at the University of South Alabama and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.

His civic involvement includes the Tuscaloosa Chamber of Commerce, American Heart Association, Focus on Senior Citizens, Easter Seals Society and the Boys-Girls Club of Tuscaloosa. He is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Tuscaloosa.

Lollar has been married to his wife, Shirley for 39 years. He and his wife are members of Northport Church of Christ. They have two children, Zac and Kylie, and two grandchildren, Adeline and Audrey. In his spare time, John enjoys Auburn football, traveling and walking for exercise.
