Joseph Michael Lins, 52, of Demopolis, passed away Friday, April 18 at DCH in Tuscaloosa.

He was born Oct. 5, 1961, in Demopolis to Joseph William Lins and Caroline Madaris Lins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph William Lins; and grandparents, Jessie

and Louise Madaris, and John H. Lins and Theola Lins.

He is survived by his mother, Caroline M. (Hank) Payne; two sons, Michael Cheyne

(Argentina) Lins and Travis Layne (Amy) Lins; three brothers, Robert W. Lins,

James Patrick (Leigh) Lins and Joseph W. (Dawn) Lins; six grandchildren; 13

nieces; five nephews; and family in Mobile. He is also survived by a special friend, Dixie Jo Little.

A memorial service will be held at Westside Baptist Church on Saturday, May 3, at 5 p.m. Pastor Richard Scott and Pastor Hank Atchison will conduct the memorial service.

Arrangements will be handled by Northport Funeral & Cremation Service.
