Stuedeman earns Alabama Cattlemen’s Association scholarship

Demopolis senior John Chandler Stuedeman of Demopolis was presented with a Cecil Lane Family Scholarship at the 71st Annual Alabama Cattlemen’s Association Convention and Trade Show in Montgomery.

Stuedeman is the son of Ted and Mary Stuedeman of Demopolis. Chandler will graduate from Demopolis High School with a 4.07 GPA and a 25 ACT score.

He is a part of the Marengo County YOUth Program, DHS golf team, Demopolis Student Anglers, Key Club, Beta Club, Science National Honor Society and A/B honor roll.

Stuedeman plans to attend Auburn University and major in bio systems engineering.

The Cecil Lane Family Scholarship is awarded each year to a young person from Alabama’s livestock industry that excels in scholastics and leadership.
