Doris Ann Pyle Pace, 87, of Demopolis, died Monday, May 26 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 20, 1927, in Selma to the late George and Mildred Gaddy Pyle Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred Gaddy Pyle Sr.; husband, Michael Pace; and son, Thomas M. Pace.

She is survived by a dear special friend, Ernest Lawson; brother, George W. Pyle of San Antonio, Texas; and a granddaughter, Heather Pace of Baton Rouge, La.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 31 at 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Demopolis with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
