Clytee Stella Moore Barton, 97, of Uniontown, passed away Thursday, July 17 at Marengo Nursing Home in Linden.

She was born June 3, 1917, in Tuscaloosa to the late Frank and Lallie Coley Moore.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Barton; and daughter, Barbara Barton House.

She is survived by her son, Robert Leland (Mary) Barton of Forkland; sister, Tiny Livingston of Huntsville; grandchildren, Sandra (James) Boxmeyer, Robert L. (Lourdes) Barton Jr., Richard (Jessica) Barton, John (Leigh Ann) Barton, David House and Liz House Granzow; and great-grandchildren, Ashley (Jeremy) Riner, Allison Boxmeyer, Alex Boxmeyer, R. Lee Barton II, Christopher (Lauren) Barton, Michael Barton, Blake Barton, Austin Barton, Sarah Barton, Kyle Barton, Adam Barton and Mary Barton.

Funreal services will be held Sunday, July 20 at 2:30 p.m. in Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown. The family will receive friends at the Uniontown United Methodist Church from 1-2 p.m. Anita Wilburn will be officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Active pallbearers will be Robert L. Barton Jr., Richard Barton, John Barton, retired Lt. Col. James Boxmeyer, Lee Barton and Chris Barton.

Junior pallbearers will be Michael Barton, Austin Barton, Kyle Barton, Adam Barton and Alex Boxmeyer.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gwen Maiten and the employees of the Marengo Nursing Home in Linden.
