Hila Yelverton, 85, of Marion, passed away Thursday, July 17 at DCH in Tuscaloosa.

She was born Feb. 21, 1929, in Perry County to the late Albert Bernard and Bessie Gray Rushing Sager.

She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Worthington of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Lisa Pickering of Bay Minette; son, Tony Yelverton of Alberta; sister, Violet Gardner of Georgia; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 21 at 1:30 p.m. at Pine Crest Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Harvey Pickering, Randy Yelverton, Aerik Worthington, John Yelverton and Jared Giddens.
