The UWA Athletic Department and Plaza Golf Cart Sales of Demopolis are teaming up to give one lucky Tiger fan an opportunity to win a customized golf cart.

Tickets for a chance to win this special golf cart are on sale at www.uwaathletics.com under the “Tickets” tab and may also be purchased from members of the UWA athletic staff, as well as coaches or student-athletes. To purchase over the phone, call UWA Athletics at (205) 652-3784.

A $20 chance, with all proceeds going toward UWA Athletics, gives the ticket buyer an opportunity to take home a golf cart valued at over $6,000. Each ticket buyer will also receive a free general admission ticket to any future UWA athletic event by simply providing a mailing address on the ticket stub.

“In addition to possibly winning a $6,000 golf cart, Tiger fans are also helping us broaden our base of support for UWA Athletics with the purchase of a ticket,” UWA Athletic Director Stan Williamson said. “We are constantly efforting to expand our footprint of support and this promotion assists in that effort.”

The golf cart will be given away at halftime of the UWA-North Alabama football game on Nov. 13 at Tiger Stadium on the UWA campus.
