James Larry Smith, better known as “JL,” 63, of Sweet Water, entered into eternal rest Saturday, Aug. 9 at his residence.

The mortal remains were cremated. Celebration of life will be held in a memorial service with Nashville musicians on Saturday, Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. at his home, 2171 Hope Road, Sweetwater, AL.
