Demopolis Police incident reports for the period ending Aug. 12

The following are the incident reports for the Demopolis Police Department for the period ending Aug. 12:

On Thursday, Aug. 7, police responded to a report of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle at Jefferson Road. Purses/handbags/wallets were stolen.

On Friday, Aug. 8, police responded to a report of harassing communications at Floyd Street.

On Friday, Aug. 8, police responded to a report of simple assault at Third Avenue.

On Friday, Aug. 8, police responded to a report of shoplifting at Ace Beauty Supply. Shea butter oil and Egyptian musk spray were stolen.

On Friday, Aug. 8, police responded to a report of theft of firearms at Trade and Traffic. A .25 auto was stolen.

On Saturday, Aug. 9, police responded to a report of harassing communications-simple assault at East Decatur Street.

On Saturday, Aug. 9, police responded to a report of criminal mischief-damage to private property at East Pettus Street. A Kia Spectra was damaged.

On Sunday, Aug. 10, police responded to a report of simple assault-family at East Monroe Street.

On Sunday, Aug. 10, police responded to a report of simple assault at Edgemont Circle.

On Sunday, Aug. 10, police responded to a report of theft of an article from a vehicle at West Decatur Street. A Ford F-250 was damaged.

On Monday, Aug. 11, police responded to a report of theft from residence at A Street.
