Kenneth Luverne Burkhalter, 57, of Linden, died Sunday, Aug. 17 at his home.

He was born April 14, 1957, in Beaumont, Texas. He was a paper mill shift supervisor.

He is survived by three sons, Ryan Burkhalter of Linden, Kade Burkhalter of Demopolis and Gunner carter of Centreville; two daughters, Jamie Burkhalter of Demopolis and Hannah Burkhalter of Tuscaloosa; and five grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services were held at Demopolis Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, Aug. 19 at 2 p.m. with Wanda Morgan officiating.

Active pallbearers were Dexter Drake, Shawn Jordan, Corey Smith, Rolfe Singleton, Gray Smith and Brandon Smith. Honorary pallbearers were the B shift converting employees of Georgia Pacific Corp.
