Donald Lewis Whitfield, 66, of Eutaw, died Saturday, Sept. 13.

He was born Feb. 25, 1948, in Greensboro to the late Milton and Louise Ryan Whitfield.

He was preceded in death by siblings Mary Payne, Jean Westbrooks, Norma Martin, Charles Whitfield and John R. Whitfield.

He is survived by his sisters, Sue Whaley of Greensboro, Margie Holladay of Moundville, Pat Hill and Rebecca Jockisch of Greensboro; and brothers, Wayne Whitfield of Greensboro and Danny Whitfield of Northport.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. at Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw with the Rev. Rick Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. The family received friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 5-7 p.m.
