Halfway through their area schedule for the season, the Demopolis Lady Tigers stand at a perfect 3-0 in the area with Tuesday night’s win over Sumter Central.

Demopolis won three sets to none with wins of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-11. Head coach Angela Sanders said she thought her team could have played much better.

“We play to the level of our competition,” she said. “When we play great teams, we play great, and when we play OK teams, we play OK. We’re not playing where we should be playing. We’ve got to learn a way to get hyped before games and figure out how to pick up our enthusiasm before games.”
