Elvin Lenard Robinson, 76, of Livingston, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, in Gattman, Miss.

He was born Feb. 28, 1938, in Catahoula Parish, La., to the late Charlie and Edna Merril Moross Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Edna Merril Moross Robinson; daughter, Marty Cunningham; son, Charles Jeansonne; sister, Dessie Warren; and brothers, Melvin Robinson and Alvin Robinson.

He is survived by his wife, Georgie Robinson; daughters, Shelia (Eddie) Lewis of Walker, La., and Sonya (Jerry) West of Quitman, Miss.; son, Eddie (Pam) Jeansonne of Baton Rouge, La.; sisters, Rita Jane Williams of Walker, La., Gail Williams of Walker, La., and Gillene Wicks of Linden; brother, Calvin Robinson of Walker, La.; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 22, at 1 p.m. at Old Belmont Church with Calvin Robinson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Visitation will be held Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Active pallbearers will be Roy Bussy, Roy Dawson, Eddie Jeansonne, Jerry West, Joseph Baxter and Charles Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Herns and Bennie Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Belmont Church.
