A pedestrian was killed Saturday morning, Dec. 20, after being struck by a vehicle on Marengo County 30.

Christopher Leonard Hudson, 26, of Magnolia, was killed as he entered the roadway and was struck by a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu.

The crash occurred at 2:15 a.m. on Marengo County 30, three miles south of Magnolia.

The vehicle did remain at the scene, and the driver was not injured.

Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
