Frederick D. Chapman Jr., 9, of Montgomery, passed away Monday, Dec. 22, at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery.

He was born July 29, 2005, to Frederick D. Chapman Sr. and Iledra Chapman Lynch of Montgomery.

He was a student at Peter Crump Elementary School, and he attended Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church. Lil’ Fred enjoyed drag racing.

He is survived by his parents, Frederick D. Chapman Sr. and Iledra Chapman Lynch of Montgomery; brothers, Jontae Sanders and Christian (Scotty) Chapman of Montgomery; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 27, at Spencer Chapel AME with burial following at Green Cemetery. Thomasville Memorial Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
