Thomas (Tom) Harrison Eddins

Thomas (Tom) Harrison Eddins, 88, of Foley, passed away Monday, Feb. 16, at his home. He previously lived in Demopolis and Tuscaloosa.

He was born Sept. 14, 1926 to Harrison and Thelma Eddins, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his son, Thomas Darrell Eddins of Rosebud, Texas; one great-granddaughter of Phoenix, Ariz.; and five sisters.

He is survived by his much-loved wife of 67 years, Imogene Eddins of Foley; two children, Cotton Eddins of Demopolis and Belinda Johnson of Elberta; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters; a brother; and many nieces and nephews.

He was a World War II veteran, an avid fisherman and hunter, and he enjoyed the outdoors and his family.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Demopolis with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Pallbearers will be Casey Johnson, Andy Eddins, Kirk Stephens, Don Johnson, Billy Burnham and Matthew Eddins.
