Local rescue officials have found the body of woman who went missing after falling from a boat on the Black Warrior River Saturday evening.
The woman has been identified as Virginia Williamson, 36, and was found at about 1:30 p.m., according to published reports.
Crews from various law enforcement and rescue agencies were on the scene searching for the woman throughout much of Sunday. According to reports, the woman went missing after falling from a boat at approximately 8 p.m. on Saturday. The focus of the search was in an area near the Cypress Cove subdivision in Greene County, where she apparently fell from the boat.
