Katie Elizabeth Hope Vann, 15, of Demopolis passed away Dec. 6, 2015 at
DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa.
Services for Hope will be held on Friday, Dec. 11, 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Demopolis with Rev. Carl Williams and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery in Uniontown. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, at the church.
Hope was born May 7, 2000, to Tim Vann and Barbara Malone Hodge.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Barbara Malone Hodge and Dr. Gerald Hodge of Gallion; father, Tim Vann of Uniontown; brothers, Joseph and Andrew Hodge of Gallion, Nicholas and Ben Vann of Gallion, Calab and Jordan Vann of Uniontown; grandparents, John and Betty Malone of Forkland and Tom and Tammy Vann of Uniontown;
great-grandmother, Mary Rose Vann of Uniontown.
Pallbearers will be Paul Malone, Mike Malone, Bobby Malone and Daniel
McDowell.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the D.H.S dance line.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research
Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
