Robert Rinehart Duke, 82, of Gallion died Jan. 26, 2016 at DCH Regional Hospital.
Robert was born May 13, 1933 in Demopolis. He was a retired board mill operator with Gulf States Paper and a member of Providence Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rhee V. Duke of Gallion; two sons, Robert M. (Denise) Duke and Daniel C. (Beverly) Duke of Gallion; daughter, Brenda D. (Lee) Melton of Forkland; three sisters, Fannie Walsh and Adele Steen, both of Demopolis, and Leila Henders of Aliceville, Alabama; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 29, 11 a.m., at Providence Baptist Church with Paul Whitcomb officiating. Burial was in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
